Why agencies use a Sarajevo-based DMC for the Balkans
Most agencies that sell the Balkans end up juggling several suppliers: a hotel in Dubrovnik, a driver in Mostar, a guide in Sarajevo, another company for Montenegro. Each has its own terms, currency and emergency number. travellige replaces that with one partner. We contract the hotels, transport, guides and services in every country on the route and you deal with one team.
Sarajevo sits in the middle of the region. Mostar, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Belgrade and Split are all within a day's drive, and Sarajevo airport has year-round hub connections through Istanbul, Frankfurt, Vienna, Zurich, Belgrade and Zagreb. That makes it a practical base for both a single-country Bosnia trip and a multi-country circuit.
We are trade-only. We do not run a consumer website or retail booking engine, and we do not contact your travellers for future business. The client relationship stays with you.
How working with us works
The same six steps apply whether you are booking a couple on a private tour or a coach group of forty.

1. Enquiry
Send dates (or a travel window), number of travellers, hotel category, guide language, and any must-see places or special needs through the quote form or by email. A rough brief is enough to start.

2. Quote within 24 hours
On working days we reply within 24 hours with a costed itinerary at net rates: hotels by name, transport type, guiding, entrance fees and what is not included. Complex multi-country MICE requests may need longer, and we tell you when that is the case.

3. Option
When your client is interested we place hotels and key services on option. Option periods depend on the season and on each hotel's own rules; we confirm the expiry date in writing so you know how long you have.

4. Contract
Once your client confirms, we issue one booking confirmation and contract covering every country on the route, with payment, cancellation and name-change terms as set out in your partner agreement.

5. Final documents
Before departure you receive the final itinerary, hotel list with addresses, driver and guide names with mobile numbers, meeting points and vouchers. We can supply them unbranded so you can issue them under your own name.

6. 24/7 operations contact
From arrival to departure your clients and your office have one operations number that is answered around the clock. If a flight is delayed, a border queue grows or a traveller falls ill, we re-plan on the ground and keep you informed.

Net rates, payment and release terms
Registered partners receive net rates. You add your own margin and sell at a price you decide; we never publish consumer prices that undercut you. Rates are quoted per person or per group depending on the product, in euros unless agreed otherwise.
Deposit and final payment deadlines, cancellation charges, name-change rules and hotel release dates are set out in your partner agreement. They vary by season and by product type (for example, peak-summer coastal hotels usually have stricter conditions than city hotels in the shoulder season), so we state the conditions that apply on every quote rather than relying on a generic table.
One invoice covers the whole trip, even when it crosses three or four borders.

Can you handle a multi-country Balkans group tour at net rates?
Yes. We contract hotels, coaches, guides and services in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Slovenia and give you one net-rate quote, one contract and one invoice for the whole route.
Do you sell directly to travellers?
No. travellige is trade-only. We work with travel agencies, tour operators and MICE planners and do not market to or rebook your clients.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Within 24 hours on working days for most requests. If a large multi-country or MICE request needs more time, we tell you on the first reply and give you a date.
Do I need to sign a partner agreement before asking for a quote?
No. You can request a quote straight away. Before the first booking we ask you to register as a partner so that payment, cancellation and release terms are agreed in writing.
Which guide languages can you provide?
English, German, Turkish, Arabic and Italian. Other languages can be requested and we confirm availability on the quote.
Can I book a single private transfer or day tour, not a full package?
Yes. Partners can book individual services such as transfers, guided city walks or day trips, as well as full packages.
