Privacy notice

This privacy notice explains how travellige, a trade-only DMC based in Sarajevo, collects and uses personal data submitted by travel agencies, tour operators and MICE planners through this website.

Who we are

This website is operated by travellige, a destination management company based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy at sales@travellige.com.

Our website is aimed at businesses in the travel trade. Most of the personal data we receive relates to people who work for travel agencies, tour operators and event planning companies.

What data we collect

When you use our quote request or partner registration forms, or email us, we may collect:

  • Agency or company name, country and business details.
  • Contact name and job title.
  • Email address and phone number.
  • Trip details, such as travel dates, group size, destinations, services requested and special requirements.
  • Attribution data, such as the page you came from, the campaign or link that brought you to our site and similar referral information.
  • The content of any messages you send us.

Personal data of travellers

Our forms are not designed to collect personal data about individual travellers. Please do not send passport details, health information or other sensitive data about travellers through the website. When a booking is confirmed, any traveller data needed to deliver the services is exchanged under the contract with the partner who made the booking.

Why we use your data

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare quotes and proposals.
  • To register your company as a trade partner and manage the business relationship.
  • To perform and administer contracts with partners.
  • To send you trade information about our programmes and services, where you have agreed or where it relates to an existing business relationship. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring trade enquiries, so we can improve our website and marketing.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Where data protection law such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data on the following bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing a contract; our legitimate interest in running and developing a business-to-business travel company; your consent, where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed: with service providers who host our website, email and business systems on our behalf; with hotels, transport companies, guides and other suppliers when this is necessary to prepare or deliver a programme you have requested; and with authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may be located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected, for example through contractual safeguards.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and partner data for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required for an active contract or by accounting, tax or other legal obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Ask us to delete your data.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
  • Complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work, and, where permitted, to measure how the site is used and where visitors come from. Where consent is required, we ask for it before setting non-essential cookies.
