Travel trade fairs such as ITB Berlin, Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, WTM London and EMITT Istanbul are where travel agencies and tour operators meet DMCs. travellige, a Sarajevo-based trade-only DMC for Bosnia and the Balkans, is planning its 2027 trade fair calendar and welcomes meeting requests.
Most long-term partnerships between tour operators and DMCs start with a face-to-face meeting. Trade fairs are the most efficient place to have several of these meetings in a few days, compare suppliers and discuss next season's contracting.
Below are the major international fairs where agents and tour operators who sell the Balkans meet destination partners. Dates change every year, so check the organiser's website for the exact 2027 dates.

Our 2027 trade fair plans
We are planning our 2027 trade fair calendar. If you will be at any of these fairs, or if you would rather meet in your office or online, request a meeting and tell us which markets and products you are interested in.
We meet travel agencies, tour operators and MICE planners only. In a first meeting we usually cover your source markets, the Balkans products you sell or want to add, group sizes and seasons, and how we work: net rates for registered partners, one contract, one invoice and one operations contact for the whole Balkans.
How to make the most of a DMC meeting
- Bring one or two real itineraries or requests you want quoted.
- Share your target markets, group sizes and preferred seasons.
- Ask about net rates, release dates and option deadlines for your products.
- Discuss guide languages and any special requirements, such as halal-friendly services or pilgrimage logistics.
- Agree on a test request after the fair, so you can compare quality and response time.

Yes. We are happy to meet online at any time, or in person in Sarajevo. Request a meeting through the contact page or the partner registration form.
