What we handle for your group
Group travel in the Balkans works well when the logistics are done properly: hotels that can take a whole group on one floor, coaches cleared for every border on the route, guides who know the sites and the timing of the day, and restaurants that can serve forty people a set menu in an hour.
We plan the route around realistic drive times and border waiting times, contract every service, and give you one contract, one invoice and one 24/7 operations number. Your tour leader travels with the group, or we provide one.
Planning notes for coach groups
- Drive times: Sarajevo to Mostar is about 2.5 hours, Mostar to Dubrovnik about 2.5 to 3 hours including the border, Dubrovnik to Sarajevo about 4.5 hours, Tuzla to Sarajevo about 2 hours. We add time for stops and borders.
- Borders: every crossing between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia is a full passport check, and Croatia applies Schengen and EU entry-exit rules. Queues are longest in July and August.
- Driving hours: drivers' working and rest time is regulated, so long days may need a second driver or an overnight stop. We plan this into the quote.
- Hotels: for groups of 30 and more we choose hotels with enough rooms of the same category and a restaurant that can seat everyone together.
- Meals: we plan set menus in advance, including vegetarian, halal or other dietary needs.
- Free places for tour leaders and driver accommodation are shown on each quote.

Can you handle a multi-country Balkans group tour at net rates?
Yes. We contract hotels, coach, guides and services in every country on the route and quote one net price, with one contract and one invoice.
What is the minimum group size?
There is no fixed minimum for private groups; we price small groups with minibuses or vans. Series departures have their own minimum numbers.
Can the coach cross all the borders on a multi-country route?
Yes, we use coach companies with the permits and documents for the countries on the route. Border waiting times vary, so we build buffers into the day.
Do you organise school and university study trips?
Yes. We arrange programmes around history, culture and contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina for school and university groups booked through agencies or institutions' travel partners.
Can you provide a tour leader for the whole trip?
Yes, in English, German, Turkish, Arabic or Italian, alongside local licensed guides at the sites.
