Why this programme sells
Sarajevo is a short-break city with long-haul depth: an Ottoman bazaar, Austro-Hungarian avenues, the site of the 1914 assassination, the siege of the 1990s and the 1984 Winter Olympics, all within a compact, walkable centre. Three nights are enough to see it well and add Mostar.
It sells especially well in Türkiye, where Turkish Airlines, Pegasus and AJet fly from Istanbul throughout the year, and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with daily Lufthansa Group flights. Wizz Air's year-round London Luton and Rome routes, and its new Berlin, Bratislava and Prague flights from December 2026, open further markets. Schedules change; last checked: October 2026.

FAQ
Does this programme work in winter?
Yes. The city tour runs all year, and in winter we can replace the Mostar day with a day on the Olympic mountain of Jahorina or Bjelašnica. Some low-cost routes, including Ryanair, do not fly to Sarajevo in winter 2026/27, so plan with the year-round hub carriers.
Can we sell it as a series with weekly departures?
Yes. We contract hotel allotments with release dates agreed in the contract, so you can sell a weekly short-break series through the season.
Can you add a December or New Year programme?
Yes. We add festive dinners and winter activities. Rooms for the New Year period should be confirmed early.
Do Turkish clients need a visa?
Turkish citizens can currently visit Bosnia and Herzegovina visa-free for short stays. Rules change, so check before booking; last checked: October 2026.
Can the Mostar trip be replaced?
Yes. Alternatives include Travnik and Jajce, the Bjelašnica mountains and the village of Lukomir, or a second Sarajevo day with the Vrelo Bosne park.
